Tennis club rules and etiquette

We are a pretty relaxed club but:

• Wait until a point is finished before crossing behind a court.
• We do expect members to wear suitable tennis clothing.
• We do ask members to wear proper tennis shoes (non-black/court-marking soles).
• We ask people to mix in when playing club sessions, and to vacate the courts after a short set (first to 6 games), if other people are waiting to play.
• Floodlighting costs £6 per hour when required and tokens for using it should be bought from a committee member during the social sessions.

Important notice

• Do never share the code of the gates with anyone, even if you suspect they are also a member. 
• You are responsible for any guests you bring to the club, and also responsible for collecting their guest fee if they play.
• Always close and lock the gate when leaving the club if no one else is left.

Not following the above rules subject you to a warning and recurrent behavior may lead to suspension of your membership. Please help to keep our club safe and sustainable.

Fees for guests

Guests may play on up to 6 occasions when invited by another member.

• Fee per guest: £5

Members are responsible for the guests their bring and responsible for collecting the fee and paying it to a committee member or transferring to the club bank account..

If a guest later decides to become a member, the fees already paid will be reimbursed.
