About us

Welcome to the Wembley & Sudbury Tennis and Squash Club – where sport, friendship, and community meet. Established in 1901, our club has been a centre for squash for over 50 years and for tennis lovers for over a century! Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or competing at a high level, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space to play, improve, and connect with like minded players.

As a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), we’re proudly non-profit. All of our income is reinvested into improving our facilities and creating new opportunities for our members. We’re run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers, elected each year by our members, which means the club is shaped by the very people who play here. From friendly matches and club nights to competitive leagues and tournaments, there’s always something happening—and always someone ready for a game.

Tennis

We offer regular social days where you can meet and play with other members, as well as active WhatsApp groups to help you find partners and enjoy games with different people. Learn more about our tennis club

Tennis coaching is available year round at our Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) registered club by LTA accredited coaches. To find out about coaching days, times, and rates, please contact our coaches directly

Our Adult and Junior teams compete in LTA leagues throughout both the Summer and Winter seasons. We have five hard courts, two of which benefit from floodlights, allowing play after sunset, with access for disabled people.

Tennis members who register with LTA Advantage Play+ can enter into a draw for the opportunity to purchase a pair of Wimbledon Championships tickets. Learn more about the benefits of membership by becoming a member!

Squash

We have two squash courts and host a Club Night every Wednesday evening. This is open to players of all levels.

There is also an open session every Sunday morning, when our coach is present to supervise and give informal advice.

Interested in joining?

Tennis Membership:

• Apply for your tennis membership online, and become a member in a few minutes!

• You’re welcome to start with our 3-month trial membership, before deciding if you want to join.

Pay and Play Tennis:

• Nonmembers can also simply book a court for off peak play by booking on ClubSpark or via the LTA website. Sessions cost £10 an hour.

Squash Membership:

• Apply for squash membership online.
• You can play as a guest up to 6 times, if invited by a member, before joining as a member.
