About us

Welcome to the Wembley & Sudbury Tennis, Squash and Social Club – where sport, friendship, and community meet. Established in 1901, our club has been a home for tennis and squash lovers for over a century. Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or competing at a high level, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space to play, improve, and connect.

As a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), we’re proudly non-profit. Every bit of income is reinvested into better courts, improved facilities, and new opportunities for our members. We’re run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers, elected each year by our members, which means the club is shaped by the very people who play here. From friendly matches and club nights to competitive leagues and tournaments, there’s always something happening—and always someone ready for a game.

Tennis

We offer regular social days where you can meet and play with other members, as well as active WhatsApp groups to help you find partners and enjoy games with different people. Learn more about our tennis club

Tennis coaching is available year round at our Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) registered club by equally accredited coaches. To find out about coaching days, times, and rates, please contact our coaches directly

Our Adult and Junior teams compete in the LTA leagues throughout both the Summer and Winter seasons. We have five hard courts, two of which benefit from floodlights allowing play on dark nights, with access for disabled people.

All tennis members who personally register with the LTA Advantage Play+, may enter into a draw to win the opportunity to purchase a pair of Wimbledon Championships tickets. Learn more what else you receive by becoming a member!

Squash

We have two squash courts and host Club Night every Wednesday—open to players of all levels.

Also squash coaching every Saturday morning with supervised play from our coach.
